IDP children will be granted with the laptops

On April 14, 2010 on mother language day the winners of a calligraphy competition were revealed in the manuscript national centre; the winners were granted with the presents.  IDP winner children were awarded with the personal computers by the minister of Refugees and Accommodation of Georgia Koba Subeliani.

MINI-LIBRARY FOR IDPS OPENED IN KASPI REGION

A mini-library has been opened in village Metekhi, Kaspi region.

The press service of the Kaspi Municipality reported to PirWeli that the collection of books includes literature in various fields.

A mini-library has been opened in village Metekhi, Kaspi region.

The press service of the Kaspi Municipality reported to PirWeli that the collection of books includes literature in various fields. The library director will serve the local population. The newly opened library, placed in the IDP meeting center, was handed 358 books by the Kaspi main regional library. "Children had to walk quite a long distance to the library because IDP settlement is quite far from the village. That is why we decided to open a mini-library for them here," the Municipality administration said.
